This is the real question buyers care about. At the band we run, recycled polyester matches virgin on the numbers that matter for swim: chlorine resistance, four-way stretch, UPF and quick dry. The honest trade-off is colour: recycled feedstock varies, so expect slightly more batch-to-batch colour fluctuation. We manage it with lab dips and strike-offs before bulk.
